Qigong with Master Sifu Jerry Gardner
FRIDAY Qigong: The Empowerment of Self
Returning to Your Childlike Nature
Friday Night 6-9pm
We begin this weekend event about experiencing how to be calm and clear, in our body and mind. With our current social media being flooded with spiritual aphorisms, and profound teachings, we may think that reading about it is enough. Words are great, but nothing happens until you engage in action.
You will discover how you move, how you breathe, spacial awareness through movements, walking and discussion.
SATURDAY Qigong: The Process of Change
Balancing the Yin & Yang of Life
Saturday 9-12noon
(2-hour break)
Saturday 2-5pm
The morning session will begin outside under the trees. We will be exploring the interplay of ourselves interacting with nature, absorbing the energetic changes of space. How do with apply that? Through simple mindful movement.
After the morning session, we will have a 2-hour break. You may choose to enjoy some wonderful local food—Roots Cafe is next to the Vitalize Studio, as well as a few other restaurants in the neighborhood. Maybe you’ll want to bring your own lunch from home, and enjoy it outside at park next to the studio—the choice is yours.
Saturday afternoon, you will learn how to recognize your patterns of energies that create you, and how you interact with self and others. You will discover when you are out-of-balance, and how to find that balance within your own self.
You leave this weekend, with the tools to enhance your awareness and increase your mind-body connection. Standing postures to energize, movement to ground, center to be present.
