Qigong + Sound Bath
Enjoy a Soulful Sunday Afternoon
Slow fluid movements, combined with stillness and sound.
Join us Sunday afternoon, when we will take time to conserve our energy rather than expend it, using Qigong water movements with the magic of Sound inspired by Curtis Forbush (The Mystics Playground).
Winter officially begins December 21st, and is the most yin season of the year, its element is water. By cultivating fluidity of movement associated with the Water element, we foster our capacity for an inward stillness and calm, regardless of our circumstances. (aka the holidays ;~)
The Tao Te Ching describes, “Nothing in the world is as soft and yielding as water, yet for dissolving the hard and inflexible, nothing can surpass it.”
Bring your family/friends to share in this soulful experience of slow fluid movements of qigong, and stillness with sound. Then notice how you’re able to flow (be water) with the holidays this season.
WHAT TO BRING: Please where comfortable loose clothing, and bring a water vessel. There will be plenty of cushions, bolsters and blankets for the sound bath, and feel free to bring any personal blankets or pillows.
No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome.
