EASING INTO EARTH SEASON
Join us for an evening of connection, reflection, and restoration as we honor the season of Earth—late summer. Through grounding meditation and gentle seasonal Qigong practices, we’ll attune ourselves to the rhythm of change and cultivate inner steadiness.
Late summer invites us to pause, center, and gather what we’ve sown—both literally and energetically. It’s a season of harvest and nourishment, a chance to reconnect with stability before moving into the next cycle.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Earth is the element of transition. It supports steadiness and ease as we shift from one phase to another. Its associated organs—the stomach and spleen—remind us to tend to our digestion, both physical and emotional. When we digest well, we think clearly and feel more balanced. When we don’t, worry and overthinking can take root.
Qigong, an ancient meditative movement art, helps process stuck energy, restore flow, and reconnect body, breath, and spirit. When practiced with intention, it can transform emotional residue and bring us back into harmony.
This 2-hour offering includes:
A grounding guided meditation
Gentle, Earth-season Qigong movements
Reflections on seasonal energy and transition
A take-home handout with supportive practices
Live sound bowl accompaniment by Curtis Forbush
Together, we’ll draw from the Earth’s quiet wisdom. The planet rotates and revolves with such grace we hardly notice—what if our own transitions could feel that smooth?
Come slow down, connect, and center as we ease into late summer—within and without.
An Invitation
Before we gather, take a quiet moment and ask yourself:
“What transitions are the most challenging for me?”
Maybe you’ll feel called to share it during our circle—chances are, you’re not alone. Often, the transitions we resist most are the very ones that connect us most deeply to others.
