Beginning Tai Chi Series
Wednesday Evenings | Feb 11 – Mar 25 | 7-8:00pm
This winter, join me for a steady, flowing 6-week journey into the foundational 13 Postures of Yang-style Tai Chi.
As the season invites us to slow down, this series offers a chance to ground your energy, clear your mind, and develop embodied calm.
Whether you’re just beginning or returning to the form, this practice is designed to meet you where you are—supporting strength, softness, and presence in equal measure.
EACH WEEK YOU’LL:
Learn postures and transitions: Step by step, build a connected and fluid sequence rooted in the First 13 Postures.
Refine body, breath, and intention: Strengthen internal awareness, movement coordination, and breath-body connection.
Apply Tai Chi principles to daily life: Let softness lead. Discover how rootedness, adaptability, and mindfulness can support your everyday rhythms.
Why Practice in the winter?
Winter is a time for turning inward, and Tai Chi helps align with this inward-energy—it regulates your nervous system, builds resilience, improves your immune system and we learn to move gracefully with quiet strength.
