Join Me for a Renewing 6-Week Journey into the First 13 Postures of Yang-style Tai Chi
Are you ready to cultivate more calm, balance, and strength? In this 6-week Tai Chi program, you’ll learn the foundational 13 Postures of Yang-style Tai Chi—a timeless practice that has been passed down through generations. Whether you’re new to Tai Chi or looking to deepen your practice, this course is designed to help you connect mind and body, and build a personal movement routine that you can practice for years to come.

 

Each Week We’ll:

  • Learn new postures and transitions: Progressively build a fluid sequence of Tai Chi movements, adding layers of depth each week.
  • Reinforce muscle memory: Practice in a supportive environment to integrate Tai Chi into your body and your life.
  • Apply the principles of Tai Chi to daily life: From relaxation to posture to mindfulness, learn how to carry the benefits of Tai Chi into every day.

As Harvard Health Publishing explains, Tai Chi has profound health benefits, including improved balance, flexibility, stress reduction, and overall wellness. It’s a holistic practice that benefits the mind, body, and spirit. Plus, it’s gentle enough for all fitness levels!

If you’ve practiced before or you’re new to Tai Chi, now is the perfect time to reintegrate or begin your practice. Let’s build these postures together and cultivate a routine that can last a lifetime.

 

Each class consists of:

  • 15-min Qigong Warm-up: Gently ease into your practice and prepare your mind and body.
  • 60-min Tai Chi Practice: Focused instruction on posture, transitions, and flow.

 

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable, loose clothing
  • A water bottle
  • Your “beginner’s mind” (Come with curiosity and an open heart!)
