DESCRIPTION:Thursday Evenings\, 5:30-6:45pm\nOct 3 thru Nov 14 (no class on Halloween)\nNov 21 (extra class\, use as a makeup class\, or an additional class = 7 weeks!) \n  \nGive your body and mind the gift of learning the First 13 Postures of Yang-style Tai Chi. Each week our progression will build by adding transitions and postures—creating a fluid sequence of movement that you can practice on your own. \nHarvard Health Publishing (Harvard Medical School) has a short article on the health benefits of tai chi. As you know\, I plan on practicing for the rest of my life! \n“Tai Chi does not mean oriental\nwisdom or something exotic.\nIt is the wisdom of your own senses\,\nyour own mind and body\ntogether as one process.”\n~Chungliang Al Huang \n  \nPlease wear comfortable loose clothing\, bring a water bottle and your “beginner’s mind.” \nEach class is 75-minutes consisting of:\n15-20 min Qigong warmup\n60-min Tai Chi practice \nThis series is 6-weeks\, and I am giving you an extra class. This last class is a bonus—making this series 7 weeks for less than $14 a class. \n(When you purchase your ticket to this event\, the ticket will say 5:30-6:30pm but it does go until 6:45pm\, it wouldn’t let me choose that time.) \nMaximum class size will be 15 students.
